Brazil Riskclima Database CMIP6 BCC-CSM2-MR runs SSP2-4.5 indices

Cataldi, Marcio et al.

Dataset
Summary
This dataset group provides derived atmospheric indices, namely the SACZ index, atmospheric blocking index, XHWI, and SPI from the BCC-CSM2-HR model for South America, as an example of indices calculated from CMIP6 data. The data cover the SSP2-4.5 scenario from 2015 to 2050. The same indices can be calculated for the other CMIP6 models using the official scripts available at https://github.com/lammoc-uff/cnpq-riskclima.
The datasets cover the domain from 68.97°S to 19.63°N and from 119.25°W to 30.38°W. Data are provided on the model’s native grid, with spectral resolution T266. No regridding, bias correction, or additional quality control was applied.
The datasets are distributed in NetCDF4 format, follow CF conventions, include standardized units, and include complete metadata. No regridding, bias correction, or additional quality control was applied.
