Description
Grib files for the CMCGEML and CMCGEMH model have been encoded from the RPN Standard format used at CMC.
This file format is random, meaning that the order of the records in unimportant as data is accessed directly.
There is no sorting of the data done during the GRIB encoding process: grib records are written in the order that the
entries are stored in the RPN Standard files. As a result, fields and times should not be expected to occur sequentially
in the GRIB files produced by the CMCGEML and CMCGEMH.
