Summary
Water vapor mixing ratio profiles from MWL lidar run by Institute for Tropospheric Research at COPS-Supersite Murg Valley.
The files contain water vapor mixing ratio profiles measured with IfT's multi-wavelength lidar (MWL) in the Murg Valley during the COPS period. The measurement period was from 06.07 to 08.25.2007. The water vapour was measured at a wavelength of 407 nm and a narrow band interference filter (0.25 nm) was used. The measurements are made with a temporal resolution of 15 min and sometimes 30 min and a range resolution of 60 m. The measurement time in the files is the mean time of a measurement interval. The error of water vapour mixing ratio is the statistical error. Smoothing windows with different smoothing lengths from 300 m up to 1000 m were used at different heights. The files only contain night time measurements.
