Summary
For 18 climate indicators as part of Essential Forest Mitigation Indicators (EFMIs), this dataset contains seasonal timeseries on the EURO-CORDEX EUR-11 grid in netcdf format for the period of 1981 to 2020.

Seasons are defined as: DJF (winter: December, January, February, where December belongs to the previous year), MAM: (spring, March, April, May), JJA (summer: June, July, August), SON (autumn: September, October, November). The climatic indices are calculated on daily data and averaged for the seasons.

File names follow the convention:
ind_efmi_europe_<variable>_EUR-12_evaluation_r1i1p1f1_GERICS_GERICS_REMO2020-2-2-iMOVE_v1_<season>_<time-period>.nc,
where time-period is 1982-2020, season is in DJF, MAM, JJA, SON and variables are:
dd – Number of dry days (precipitation < 1 mm)
evspsbl – Evaporation Including Sublimation and Transpiration
fd – Number of frost days (minimum temperature < 0 °C)
hurs – Near-Surface Relative Humidity
huss – Near-Surface Specific Humidity
hwx – Maximum length of heat waves
id – Ice days
lai – Leaf Area Index
mrro – Total Runoff
mrros – Surface Runoff
mrsov – Volumetric Soil Moisture
pr – Precipitation
psl – Sea Level Pressure
su30 – Number of summer days (maximum temperature > 30.0 °C)
tas – Near-Surface Air Temperature
tasmax – Daily Maximum Near-Surface Air Temperature
tasmin – Daily Minimum Near-Surface Air Temperature
wsmx – Field Capacity
