Summary
This dataset provides ensemble means, ensemble standard deviations and ensemble minima/maxima of the ModE-RA reanalysis product. The data are provided as monthly anomalies w.r.t. 1901-2000 climatologies computed for each member separately. According anomalies for each member and the climatologies themselves can be found in the other datasets within this dataset group. Absolute values can be reconstructed by adding the climatology of the according member to its anomalies, but please note that by doing this you will also add the mean state model biases of the underlying ECHAM6 atmospheric general circulation model and resulting values will therefore have strong offsets w.r.t. observational products in some regions. The feedback archive, which is also provided as a dataset in this dataset group, contains information on how the assimilated climate data impacted the reanalysis product. Information on the experiment design and the variables included in this dataset can be found in the experiment summary and the information provided with it. The scripts used for the assimilation of the climate data can be found in second additional info file at the experiment level. For a detailed description of ModE-RA please refer to the documentation paper (reference provided in the summary at the experiment level).
