Summary
This dataset provides a monthly climatology computed for the years 1901-2000 of the ModE-RA reanalysis product. According anomalies for each member and ensemble statistics can be found in the other datasets within this dataset group. Absolute values can be reconstructed by adding the climatology of the according member to it's anomalies, but please note that by doing this you will also add the mean state model biases of the underlying ECHAM6 atmospheric general circulation model and resulting values will therefore have strong offsets w.r.t. observational products in some regions. Information on the experiment design and the variables included in this dataset can be found in the experiment summary and the additional information provided with it. The scripts used for the assimilation of the climate data can be found in second additional info file at the experiment level. For a detailed description of ModE-RA please refer to the documentation paper (reference provided in the summary at the experiment level).
