Spectrally resolved fluxes from satellite observations (Version 1)

Roemer, Florian Elias et al.

Dataset
Summary
This experiment contains the monthly global mean all-sky spectrally resolved outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) calculated from observations of the Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI). The spectral OLR is separated into the spectral range directly observed by IASI and the far-infrared (FIR) part inferred using a prediction model. These monthly spectra can be used to calculate the global mean all-sky spectral longwave feedback parameter by regressing them against monthly values of near-surface air temperature from publicly availalbe reanalysis datasets.
