COPAT2 - ICON-CLM test simulations towards the optimal setup of ICON-CLM-2024.07
For the quasi-objective calibration of the regional climate model ICON-CLM (ICON Climate Limited-area Mode), icon-2.6.6. to icon-2024.07, we did an extensive series of tests and analyses to optimize the configuration. We conducted them in the framework of the CLM-community internal project “COordinated PArameter Testing 2”. The tests are forced by ERA5 and cover the EURO-CORDEX-11 domain. The published simulation data cover two periods 1980-1985 and 2003-2008. The simulations are done with one additional spinup year.
