The dataset contains JSBACH3.2 (version de Vrese et al., 2021) simulations in a standalone setup. The simulations cover the Chersky region in Eastern Siberia for the time period 1901-2014 in two horizontal resolutions, 5 km (0.045°) and 210 km (1.88°). There are two control runs, one in 5 km and one in 210 km resolution. Additionally, there are idealized experiments with individual input parameters set to spatially uniform (See methods section in associated publication). The file names state the resolution and which parameter is set to spatially uniform in the respective experiment, or if this is a control run. The spin-up spans over 1901-1979 and the analysis period from 1980 to 2009. Simulation years 2010-2014 are not used for the publication. All 210 km simulations are joint in one tar file. If opened, the netcdf files state the respective experiment. The temporal resolution of the simulations is 30 minutes and the atmospheric forcing stems from the Global Soil Wetness Project Phase 3 (Dirmeyer et al., 2006). For further information see methods section in associated publication.
