Summary
Based on the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) Earth system model MPI-ESM1-2-LR, we have run a large ensemble up to 30 member simulations. This ensemble is forced by CO2 emissions in representing the interactive carbon cycle instead of the conventional prescribed CO2 concentration. We use the CMIP6 forcings from historical to different scenarios, i.e., esm-hist, esm-ssp126, esm-ssp245, esm-ssp370, and esm-ssp585, together with the forcings from CovidMIP, i.e., ssp245-cov*.
The following simulations are published here:
ssp245-cov-baseline (10 members),
esm-ssp126 (10 members),
esm-ssp245 (30 members), and
esm-ssp370 (10 members).
The rest simulations which fit to the official CMIP6 MIPs are published under respective MIPs on ESGF.
