Summary
This dataset contains data collected by 23 drifting autonoumous water buoys (Metocean XAN) during the Lofote cyclone experiment LOFZY 2005. The buoys were deployed by a transport aircraft in the Norwegian Sea on 2 February 2005. The buoys delivered at approximately 1-hourly time intervalls position, sea level pressure, air temperature and water temperature for several months with the last buoy transmitting until end of September 2005.
