Summary: From 2005-02-26 to 2005-03-19 a total of 158 radiosondes were launched from RV Celtic Explorer at intervalls of about 3 hours. Measured parameters are temperature, pressure and humidity. Wind direction and speed are calculated from GPS positioning.
The dataset consists of one archive file (.tar) which contains 158 data files, one for each sounding. The file format is 'ascii-text', the representation of measured parameters is described in a 'readme'-file inside the .tar-archive and in the 'additional_info' entry (LOFZY2005_celtic_rs_info).
