Summary
This dataset consists of the gridded land area fraction used to estimate HadCRU_MLE_v1.4 for each 5° latitude by 5° longitude grid cell of the Earth.

The land area fraction is a derivative product based largely on the OSTIAv2 land mask, but with lakes considered land for areas within the HadISST2 land mask, and was therefore generated using E.U. Copernicus Marine Service Information; https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00168
