ECCES MPIOM-REMO climate simulations ensemble historical period

Mayer, Bernhard; Mathis, Moritz; Pohlmann, Thomas

Dataset Group
Summary
This group contains hourly model results of all members of this regional climate ensemble for the historical period 1950-2005. Members of the ensemble differ only due to different initial conditions.

Available data:
(a) ocean model results of sea surface height above mean sea level ("SSH" in dataset name),
(b) atmosphere model results of eastward and northward components of wind at 10 m above ground ("Wind" in dataset name).

Ocean model data (MPIOM) are on the global grid NASH06 (0.6° horizontal resolution with grid poles shifted to Europe and North America to obtain a horizontal resolution of up to 5 km in the North Sea. It is fully coupled with the regional atmosphere model (REMO) running on the regional grid EURO-CORDEX22 with a horizontal resolution of ca. 24 km.
