Summary
This run (run3, experiment ID a54) is one member of a 3-member ensemble simulation (run1 to run3) of the IPCC AR4 "720 ppm stabilization experiment (SRES A1B)" with the coupled climate model ECHO-G.
All SRES simulations are started with restart files from the end of year 2000 of the corresponding 20C3M runs. They are run under SRES anthropogenic forcing and with fixed solar constant of 1365 W/m^2.
Anthropogenic GHGs, sulfate aerosol direct and first indirect effects, and natural forcing (solar irradiance and volcanic activity implemented through varying solar constant) are used for the 20C3M simulations.
This member was run on a NEC SX-6 machine at DKRZ.
