Ensemble of 9 FOCI simulations covering the historical period from 1940 to 2009. External forcings follow the CMIP6 historical settings. The solar amplitude in the strong solar phase from ~1940 to ~2009 is amplified by a factor of two to impose a stronger solar signal onto the climate system
