Summary
Transient simulations with a regional physical and biogeochemical ocean general circulation model of the Mediterranean Sea. The forcing derived from a global simulation with the fully coupled atmosphere–
ocean–vegetation–ice-sheet–solid-earth model MPIESM/
mPISM/VILMA (D2.1, Mikolajewicz et al 2025, https://doi.org/10.5194/cp-21-719-2025). The Mediterranean model combines the physical model MPIOM and the biogeochemical model HAMOCC. Available files are monthly output files of MPIOM and HAMOCC as well as 100-yr, 10-yr mean and 10-yr monthly mean composites. In addition, all restart and forcing data are available.
