Summary
This dataset contains most of the primary data necessary to reproduce the study "Changes in tropical gravity waves and the quasi-biennial oscillation in storm-resolving simulations of idealized global warming" by H. Franke, P. Preusse and M. Giorgetta. This includes the ICON model code, runscripts and input data to perform the 45-day long simulations of six idealized climate states as well as most of the post-processing scripts, analysis, and plotting scripts to create the results and figures presented in the study. S3D source code and S3D analysis scripts are excluded due to license reasons but can be obtained by contacting Peter Preusse.
