This archive contains the publication data for the article “Ramme, Ilyina and Marotzke: Moderate greenhouse climate and rapid carbonate formation after Marinoan snowball Earth”, submitted to Nature Communications in 2023.
Included are the python code of the carbonate formation reconstruction model, as well as postprocessed output, scripts for creating the postprocessed data and the figures and a detailed description of the simulation procedure. The source code of ICON-ESM, with which the Earth system model simulations were done, is stored in a separate repository.
The python scripts in this repository are available under the 3-Clause BSD License (SPDX short identifier: BSD-3-Clause, see https://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause). The file postprocessed_data_and_scripts/python_scripts/mocsy_solver.py includes code that is distributed under a different license (see file header).
