Summary
This data contains three series of model simulations for the period
of 2017. The model domain uses 902 X 777 grid points in the horizontal direction
that covers the region 19.889W to 30.167E, 40.067N to 65.934N in geographical
coordinates, and 51 layers in the vertical direction. The bathymetry of the
model domain is included in this dataset and named as: 'Bathymetry_GCOAST.nc'.
Regarding the model output, the first series 'GCWAM5_COUPLED_FREE_RUN' is the
run of the NEMO circulation model coupled with the WAM wave model. The second
series 'GCWAM5_COUPLED_DA_RUN' is the run of the NEMO circulation model
coupled with the WAM wave model and assimilated with the sea-surface
temperature data. The third series 'GCWAM5_UNCOUPLED_DA_RUN' is the NEMO
circulation model run without coupling WAM wave model but still assimilated
with the sea-surface temperature data.
